Aims and Objectives

AGEAC, as an institution that is eminently educational and cultural, does not pursue aims that are political or religious, and its objectives are specifically defined in the following synthesis:

  1. To gather all the human beings in the study of the origins and historical development of the different cultures that have existed on the Earth.
  2. To hold meetings and exchanges of an artistic, cultural and scientific nature with other cultural and scientific organisations of a national or international scope.
  3. To advance the creation and promotion of libraries and cultural centres for the study of Anthropology and its different branches.
  4. To research the roots of the language, folklore and mysticism of the different peoples of mankind in order to contribute to the preservation of their historical identities.
  5. To work continually for the benefit of humanity, procuring the intellectual, moral and psychological betterment of society, so that it can seek its own advancement in the material and economic spheres, as well as in its human aspects in general.
  6. To maintain friendly and harmonious relations with other anthropological centres in the world at all times.
  7. To hold periodically conferences, congresses, seminars and retreats with anthropological institutions at the national and international level.
  8. To research and study the different schools of though of mankind in the philosophical, artistic, scientific and mystical of all different times and places.
  9. To research the depth and significance of the different theological and social concepts from the different cultures created by humankind as part of its ideological and metaphysical expression.
  10. To publish, print and distribute editions of books, pamphlets, magazines, and periodicals for the dissemination of anthropological culture.
  11. To establish branches of this institution both in the territory of Spain and worldwide.
  12. To publicise the results of anthropological research by means of the printed media, radio and television.
  13. To encourage programmes of radio and television that may contribute to the information and rescue of the identity, values and image of all the peoples of the world.
