INTERESTS SET AGAINST GNOSIS

There have been several occasions in history, in which the Gnostic doctrine has been challenged by various opponents intent on discrediting the Gnostic postulates with vulgar commentaries. Really, the Gnosis of all times has been attacked by those who do not want its truth and integral knowledge to be revealed, by those who do not want the fundamental knowledge which allows the exact interpretation of the philosophical Paths that lead to the self-liberation of the being, that is to say, to the salvation of the human being and his psychic principles, to be revealed. Obviously, dogmatic interests have been adverse to the pursuit of GNOSIS or GNOSTICISM, because those dogmatic interests see Gnosis as a threat to their continuity, existence and social standing.

As a preliminary introduction to the aforementioned paragraphs, we can pose the question that often arises in the mind of a certain sort of people: IS GNOSIS A POLITICAL INSTRUMENT?
